If you installed correctly your developer environment, building OpenMAIA is quite simple. The tarball contains configure script made with autoconf and generates Makefiles according with your system configuration. After downloading source tarball just follow these instructions

• Untar source tarball and enter in the directory

  $ tar zxvf openmaia-XX.tar.gz
  $ cd openmaia-XX
  

• Configure, compile and install

  $ ./configure
  $ make
  $ su
  (give root password)
  # make install
  

To run OpenMAIA call openmaia binary from the shell.
